How do I enable 2 FA? Step by Step Guide

Step 1: Access the Security section of your account:

          a) Navigate to the security section of your account under Profile.

          b) Click on the option "Enable 2FA" to begin the process.

          c) It asks for "Confirm your current password to set up 2FA". Enter your Login               password. 

Step 2: Download the Authenticator App:

             a) Choose and download one of the authenticator apps recommended by us. 

              b) Once the app is installed, click "Next" on the setup screen.

Step 3: Enable 2FA 

              a) You will see a QR code displayed on your screen

              b) Open the authenticator app on your phone and scan the QR code.

Step 4: Manual Code Entry (If needed)

              If you encounter difficulties in scanning the QR code, you can manually enter the code                         shown on the screen into the authenticator app. You will have to delete the earlier saved   

              Cosmic account on your Authenticator App (if any) and take a fresh scan of the QR code.   

Step 5: Save your Backup code:

             a) A 6 digit code is displayed only for 30 seconds on the Authenticator App of your phone.                         Enter this code immediately on the Cosmic portal screen. You will be given a backup code                     on your Cosmic screen.

             b) Save this code by writing it down somewhere secure. This backup code will be crucial in                       case you loose access to your phone. 

Step 6: Complete the Setup

          Confirm saving the codes. Your 2FA is successfully Enabled.

Two Factor Authentication is a mandatory requirement for WITHDRAWAL, and will provide added security to your account.
