How is the Trading Fee for Futures Contract Calculated on Cosmic Trade?

Created by Cosmic Support, Modified on Wed, 29 Jul at 5:49 PM by Smitha Bhaskar

Cosmic Trade uses a Maker–Taker fee model. Consider the following (assumption value) :

  • Maker Fee – 0.02%

    • Charged when your order adds liquidity

    • Example: A limit order that does not fill instantly

  • Taker Fee – 0.05%

    • Charged when your order removes liquidity

    • Example: A market order or a limit order that gets filled immediately

? How Fees Are Calculated?

Trading Fee = Fee % × Notional Value

(Notional Value = Price × Quantity)

Fees may change depending on:
✔ Futures or Options
✔ Your trading volume (VIP tier)

You can check the full updated fee structure on Cosmic Trade Fees anytime.
