Why is the login location different from where I really am?

Cosmic Trade shows your login location based on your IP address, not your GPS. Sometimes your IP doesn’t match your real location because of how internet networks work.

Why this happens:

• Mobile data: Your mobile network may route your connection through another city.

• VPN: A VPN will show the VPN server’s location instead of yours.

• Changing IPs: Your ISP may assign you an IP linked to a different region.

If the login looks suspicious:

• Change your password right away.

• Turn on 2FA for extra security.
